Wolong China Giant Panda Garden Shenshuping Base is located at the Wolong National Nature Reserve in Gengda town, Wenchuan county of Southwest China's Sichuan province, with an elevation of 1,700 meters and 150 hectares of area. It’s a perfect place for tourists to watch giant pandas.
It is a giant panda conservation and research base which combines feeding, breeding, training of giant pandas, as well as public education, and scientific observation.
According to the local staff members, the place can hold 60 to 80 pandas, making it the largest giant panda breeding base in the world.
